How It Works

The Heisenberg uncertainty principle establishes a fundamental limit on the precision with which complementary observables can be known simultaneously. Narrowing the spatial wavepacket to localize position (Δx → 0) broadens the momentum wavevector spectrum (Δp → ∞) via Fourier transform duality, prohibiting deterministic classical trajectory measurements.
